- Yes! Bob is home! Earlier this afternoon I spoke to his happy owners on the phone. Apparently he followed a bitch to Wescott, was handed in to the Dog Warden and spent two days in Rosemar Kennels in Leigh. He's off to the vet for neutering and a chip now. Brilliant news! Owners very grateful for DL's support. Have taken down posters in Milton Heath car park and outside Chadhurst Farm. Owners/helpers do take down any posters you see in the area. Many thanks. Patsy

- That's hopeful news. I do hope it's him! Saw plenty of owner's posters in the area this afternoon. I gave out a few to useful contacts in the area and pushed one through Leith Hill NT warden's cottage letterbox. Thanks for the nice words, David! You too can become a local DL helper when your boy is home! Fingers crossed for tomorrow morning . . .Px

- I have just heard from the dog warden and she is pretty sure she found Bob in Westcott and took him to a kennel. We can pick him up am and I will confirm either way. I would like to say that I am very impressed and comforted by what you do! Rather special!

- Have just been speaking to David, Bob's owner. Bob ran off from owner's smallholding off Logmore Lane, so knows the area and David spent the night there in case he came back in the night. Home is actually Okewood Hill, so good idea for helpers to please poster in villages/pubs/farms/NT car parks in between over the hills. Bob is very friendly so he could have been picked up by walkers and taken out of the area as many people come down from London to walk in the Surrey Hills at bank holiday. Will poster in the area this afternoon/evening and keep in touch with owner. David going out this afternoon with his other dog to check the woods.Last edited: 2013-04-01 14:25:10 by Patsy
