I took a rescue dog that looks like her from a BB5 postcode pound to a safe "no kill" rehoming kennels in LA2 yesterday. Can I send someone the picture I took of her in my car. I've just emailed the photo to Jayne and admin to forward.

Tis has been put onto Dogs in Salford Facebook page and not too far from where Elsie went missing

Lost dog seen in LIVIA Silverdale area **Bolton Rd/Queensway/Silverdale** on Mon 31st March around 4pm. Possibly a whippet (small or young). Faded green collar, with black canvas lead trailing behind. Grey-ish and/or light brown, thin fur. Dried mud on it. In need of some TLC and possibly veterinary care. If anyone has it or has seen it please get in touch on here.

Brindle lurcher pictured at Leigh dogs home, Have advised owner who has rang and checked the gender (confirmed found is female) owner is going to the dogs home to check

I dont want to build your hopes up incase its not but a lurcher has been picked up and took to stray aid kennels and i keep looking at its photo and the markings look very like Elsies i dont know the gender as i am still trying to find more about this dog.The photo is on JOSANDO'S PET F.L.E.A.S (found,lost,escaped,abandoned,stolen pets)

Always a good selection of whippet/lurcher types in the Found and Strays sections and the Up for Rehoming sections at www.strayaid.co.uk and www.strayaction.com
Quite a few brindles at both sites at the moment worth taking a look at.

Shared post on facebook and some seen elsie pic and has said he sure it was elsie roaming alone on close park at radcliffe at 7 pm last night he has been on this evening but no sightings tonight. Thought it strange the dog roaming on its own x

Hi, have been talking our Lurcher into Phillips Park, along the River and towards Forest Bank regularly to try and find Elsie. No luck so far. We'll keep trying. Hope she comes home soon.

Potential sighting of Elsie in the Swinton/Clifton area-if it was her she has no collar on and it looking very thin! Can everyone in the area please keep a look out for her-it would absolutely make my mum and Simons year!!!

I took my dog for a look around the Philips Park, Mere Clough, Prestwich Clough, Drinkwater Park, 13 Arches and Waterdale areas on Saturday morning but no sign unfortunately.
