This reunion is down to owners because they got Minnie chipped and to kind person who "rescued" her. I am so happy for this family and so glad Minnie is now safe and back where she belongs. God bless! xxx
I can now advise that Minnie was running away from a gypsy and a quick thinking passer-by caught her. Thank you to that very kind, decent human being. God bless you for helping Minnie and her family, wherever you may be - THANK YOU! Thank you also to the "safe house" fosterer for keeping her safe until owners could collect her. x

DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
It's her! It's Minnie!!!!!! I have seen her. I won't move her into reunited just yet as we need to wait until she is in owner's arms. Owner lives in Wales and is on the way. She is currently in a safe house. Once she is home, we can update further. Suffice it to say, she was running from the people suspected of stealing her. She was full of fleas but has been bathed and was scanned by RSPCA as kind "rescuer" took her there. I am SOOOOOO happy, happy, happy!!!!! Owner will update later, probably tomorrow due to the long drive. Our "Minnie stolen from Market" is almost home!!!!!! I have given her lots of kisses!!!! xxxxx WE'LL WAIT FOR OWNER TO HAVE HER, BEFORE WE MOVE INTO THE BLUE. PROBABLY LATE TONIGHT.

Sometimes, it is necessary to remove the word "stolen" from the poster and other times it is necessary to have it on there. People are more likely to return the dog if they feel they are not being accused of theft, whereas others may help more if dog is stolen. Swings & roundabouts. We removed it so posters could be printed in strategic places. I will put it back again now for you DogAngel. I am only too happy to bump again but due to rules will need links to recent press articles in order to do so. Can you supply for us? Thanks for all you are doing DogAngel x
dogangel
Hi Kimmybear, Plz could this dog be listed as stolen as it seems to be showing up as a lost dog. I would really like to see this stolen dog boosted up the search listings due to the levels of publicity that the adverts are generating. Plz reward all our efforts by placing this as stolen and higher up the list.
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
This was done, thanks DogAngel. x
dogangel
Hi Kimmybear, could this now be boosted up the list on the search list. I have current articles online, email alerts to residents, article in DOGS TODAY, local Epping newspaper and PETS AT HOME magazine next edition. Plz bump it up due to all the publicity that this search is receiving. I feel that it should now be placed nearer the top and not at the elected place on the list.
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
Jackie from Herts & Essex Pet Search was patrolling in North Weald Market today. Well done Dog Angel, you have done extremely well on this. Thank you, both. Owner is very grateful. x
dogangel
Epping local paper are running an article on the follow up from the North Weald poster blitz.
dogangel
Article will be going in to DOGS TODAY magazine. email alerts to residents and PETS AT HOME magazine will be running an article so fingers crossed.
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
We thought we had a lead, but no luck so we still search and poster for Minnie. Bumping due to press release. If anyone can provide a link, that would be appreciated, thank you. x
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
DogAngel, you are a little gem. Let's see what tomorrow brings - so hoping for news. x
dogangel
Really good response today from the Media. Spoke to Editor of DOGS TODAY and they are running an article. Spoke to Reporter at the Epping local paper and was really begging for front page coverage, so everyone keep your fingers crossed that we get front page as this will boost our search. I feel that this dog is now outside the area, so this search after this Saturday needs to widen at least 400 miles. I was reading about a dog stolen in Croydon and found in Scotland.
dogangel
email alerts for residents in surrounding area is now being actioned-plz focus all press coverage on this being the largest stolen dog search in Essex. This will catch the public attention and focus the search. It looks like the dog is outside the area as there are no reported sightings. I would ask the owners to poster the Wales area that they live as to drum up support and to get an article in the local Welsh paper.
dogangel
Hi, any helpers coming to North Weald Market Plz go straight to Danny's bedding stall. Just ask any stallholders for directions to his stall. I have had a message to call the reporter about a new article in the next paper. I called the Editor of PETS AT HOME magazine and they will be running an article but the next edition is in the summer. Speaking to Editor of magazine DOGS TODAY for article. I cannot go to the market this weekend but need the volunteers to approach drivers queuing to enter the market.
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
DogAngel & Liz, Jackie wishes to help for a couple of hours on Saturday. Please put a message on here for her as she may wish to meet up. Thank you. x

For Jackie - Pet Search. Jackie, sorry only just got your message as I was at North Weald, but we'd love for your help. Can you attend next Saturday with DogAngel? I won't be able to attend next week so your help will be appreciated. Thank you.
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
Minnie is definitely well known at North Weald market now. Liz, Danny said he has a new photo, please email it to DogLost, myself or Denise and I'll get it put on. DogAngel, don't worry I got all the vehicles with flyers and spoke to a few travellers. Two of us wore Minnie posters on our persons. Sorry we never met, DogAngel, maybe next time. Willow1, that made me panic for moment - well spotted. Shame it wasn't Minnie. Keep looking. Well done everyone who has helped in some way. You are brill!

Thanks Louise for taking flyers and posters for your area x

Got the opportunity to meet the owner-Danny and saw the impact of all his efforts. There were flyers on all the market stalls and the traders were aware of the poster blitz today. Disappointed that no other volunteers turned up as I wanted to approach the car drivers in the queue but had to do a lot of walking around asking people directly. No leads at the moment, many of the customers had seen the appeal on facebook and twitter and also my new article front page of the local paper. Really need volunteers next Saturday as the residents would have then be made aware of the local press and newspaper coverage once the newspapers start to appear in the local shops. Danny was focusing on petrol stations, takeaways outlets and traveller sites. I will be focusing again on more media coverage and pushing for a slot on the one show-got to get this little one home.
Lucylou
I hope something comes of all you did today x terrible thing to do to a little boy x

Only one helper has turned up and there are loads of cars to pop a flyer on. Market is there till 3.00pm so anyone who can spare an hour or so please do go and take the number of Danny in the post below so you can call him to locate him. He has loads of flyers for us and I believe he is on a pet stall. I will going myself soon. And you know who's are there too so we really need to get in their faces with this! Thank you. x

Wow! What a busy day I have had today. I have been in contact with the editor of the Mercury-unable to run a story as it only covers as far as Epping Forest. I then spoke to the editor of the Epping Forest Guardian and asked for front page internet alert. I was able to talk in detail with their fantastic reporter Claire who agreed for a photographer to attend the poster blitz tomorrow. Will be arranging internet alerts to residents in surrounding areas but will leave my email address denisesykes27@yahoo.co.uk requesting photo to be emailed. Many Thanks

I'm back on line but cannot get emails on my phone at the moment, but can view on computer. If anyone needs me, pls text me on mobile 0786 730 8672.
I have asked for alerts to be sent to CM17,18,19,20. Don't know if this will get picked up quick enough though as its late now. Sorry I was unavailable but my internet provider shut me down as they were changing their own providers. I will see this page until midnight probably if anyone wants to leave any messages. Remember to make a note of Danny's mobile number in a post from Lturner below, so you can locate owner and the flyers when you get there. Let's make Minnie too hot to handle! x

Need volunteers for large leaflet blitz in the market early 7am start-want all customers approached and shown a poster. Asking drivers to place poster in their car window-need all dog walkers in the local area to give up 1hr only of their Saturday morning-let us all make this dog too hot to handle and return to the owner. The owners have been superactive in their approach to this poster blitz-come on CM16 VOLUNTEERS we need you.

I did not get an alert to this one!!! I am in CM20 and i know alot of people in this area that if they know about Minnie i am sure would come and help. DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
Well done, DogAngel. I am asking Debs to call you. It would be so fantastic if we could get lots of people together to ask stall holders etc. It may be best to leave your dog at home though as we have been trying to discourage people from taking dogs to this market for a number of reasons. I can't go into details here, but it's safer. I believe owner is doing something similar, but as the market is so big we need all the help we can get. A "DogLost helper" presence in the market and all these people asking questions, may well filter back to thieves and make Minnie too hot to handle. DogAngel, it might be worth speaking to the owner about the vehicle recognition - they would be happy for your help. Number on here. This also means the police have access to that too. Let's hope they use it. Excellent advice DogAngel. Thank you. I will bump Minnie's page for a "investigation" day on Sat. You wonderful helpers out there never cease to amaze me with your help and knowledge. x
dogangel
vehicle recognition is in operation here-need further assistance.Plz could Debs in the office call me to assist.
dogangel
Big shout out for volunteers to attend north weald market this Saturday to poster and ask stallholders for any sightings. I have a contact at north weald who will be helping but need volunteers to attend? Make your Saturday dog walk the walk around north weald-let us get this little one back asap. Any volunteers?
