Owner has just been round. Was duck shooting in next village and dog got spooked and ran off... Has confirmed his age, name, working dog etc but has advised as getting on he was going to put him up for a good home to retire so has just given us him on the understanding we give him a lovely home.

Very strange conversation but both happy with the outcome.

Thank you for all you support!

HI, As mentioned i have been through all the ESS listed as lost and have been unable to find a match. I had ruled harvey out going off his discription losted of being all white with L and W head as this one has markings on his body.

My description appears to keep disappearing so ill add it in here for reference.

Prodominatly Dark head with White flash down forehead to speckled muzzle. Largely white body with Patches across shoulders and back. Speckled legs as with Muzzle. Stocky Build but not overweight, short legged. Large Head. great temprament.
(maybe to much information but seems to be a prominate feature of his personality but he cant seem to be stroked without becoming 'excited' in the nether regions)Last edited: 2013-04-04 10:05:56 by Sidney

Hi, Have just rechecked that listing as went through them all this morning and sadly he is not the one mentioned. I will continue to check daily but have now posted a picture so fingers crossed.

Also Warden has been out an checked him over, No chip or Tags, Dog Warden has our details should the owner approach them, Local dogs trust also informed and Local area representatives have also been notified. Found in a small village where everyone knows each others pets so sadly not from here but enquiries out in all the surrounding villages.Last edited: 2013-04-03 12:38:24 by Sidney
