Actually looking at the rest of this, he had a harness as well, so he must have owners out there. This may already have been done, but if not, can anyone get some makeshift posters up in the area, stating a dog had been found and to call BB451 on DogLost's number? How very sad. x

Vet who microchipped dog said his original home was in the Eastbourne area but his records show the dog was subsequently rehomed. Message left on original owners phone but hasn't replied. A local vet has this dog at the moment in case owner is found and wants to bury him/his ashes but obviously can't keep him for too long.

More info - dog was entire, possibly 3-4 years old, medium size welsh terrier type -

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
