- just come up on my facebook group worth a look
Found in Athelstane Road, Knightswood about half an hour ago.
This lovely dog is wearing a pink collar with diamond bones.
We think she possibly belongs to an elderly person.
She is very friendly. Please share this photo and call us on 07594 117877 so we can reunite this lovely pooch with her owner.

- Thanks MrsR. PADS kennels are aware. Pixie is chipped so hopefully she would have been scanned if going to either Brown street or PADS. There has been an ad in the paper also, but still Pixie has not been located. Wonder if someone in some of those clubs you mention would have picked her up and not handed her in.I do think it would be unlikely she would still be on the loose after all this time.Thank you for your offer of help.It is much appreciated.Last edited: 2013-05-01 08:43:26 by Sable - Regional Co-ordinator - Scotland

- Hi dave, I have a few ideas for you which you may very well have done already but just wanted to mention them just in case. I was having a look on a map of where Pixie went missing and I see that there are a few golf courses around the area which may be worth contacting and staking out at dawn and dusk, there is also a jet ski club that use the part of the Tay at Perth which may be worth contacting as they will be able to get a view of the banks that you cannot get otherwise, also fishing clubs whos members will be up and down the banks on a regular basis. I mention this because dogs that are straying need a water source. I'm assuming that you have been contacting PADs and Brown Street Kennels too. I don't know if this is allowed or not but you could ask for CCTV footage of where she broke from her lead. You could contact Heartland FM and Tay FM too for some publicity. Wishing you all the luck in the world. Please let me know if I can help with any searches and/or postering, I am in the PH15 area.Last edited: 2013-04-29 21:18:38 by MrsR

- Sorry to see that PIXIE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (50876)

- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.

- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
