Thank you everyone for your support and condolences. You all know that only time can help the way we feel now, though at this stage I'm not sure that there is enough time available. I sincerely hope that none of you have to go through this for a very long time.

Hi Carole, so very sorry to read this tragic news of Nipper. Dogs that are found deceased are still put in the reunited column as it then makes people aware that he has been found and will not go out to continue looking for him. My thoughts and sympathies are with you. RIPNipper xx

Nipper has been found dead, obviously hit by a car. Thank you for trying to help. Please could someone adjust his page as somehow I've notified him as reunited, but he is actually found deceased.Last edited: 2013-04-08 17:26:48 by carolestitcher

Hi thank you for your advice. I tried Jerry Green and the RSPCA yesterday to no avail. Asda customer services would only put a poster in the staffroom not in the store and as that is totally against the community policy of Wal-Mart I shall be contacting their head office to find out whether that is company policy in the UK. I hadn't thought of the jet garage I'll get Martin to nip down there with a poster. I've rung the dog warden at least he will be looking. He escaped (we think) because I didn't shut the gate properly earlier and he got out when Martin let them out for their last wee. We have 4 dogs, all rescues and he's the only one who isn't chipped, because we were skint when we got him and prioritised his jabs over chipping. Another feature that may help is that he recently had a bad grooming and the first couple of inches from the base are cut short and the rest is a bit like a fan.

It may be worth trying Jerry Greens at Broughton and the RSPCA as well. Do Asda have a notice board and maybe the Pub and Jet garage.

Hi Carole, can you give any more info, did he get off the lead or escape from a garden? I will keep my eye out for him for you.
carolestitcher
Thank you very much for that. There are still lovely people in this world and this shows it. We have spoken to quite a few local people who we have never spoken to before and many of them have helped. I shall be ringing the dog wardens once I've sent this mail, perhaps they might know something.

dropped a poster into Sangreat kennels that is the local kennels where the dog warden takes the dogs. They have a website best if you keep checking that too. Also left your contact details with the Kennels at Burringham just in case he maybe got taken there. Hopefully you will have got him back by now, fingers crossed.

Thank you for asking for more information. We live on Burringham Road, next to BRM motors and near to Ashfield caravan park and the golf course. We are having difficulty searching for him properly ourselves as I am disabled and my husband has recently had a heart attack, though we have been out looking. He is an adorable little dog who loves people.

Do we have a more definite area of where this little guys gone missing? Have shared on f/b as am local to this area
