hi karen truely sorry little eric is missing. Wondered if you had spoke to the families in those 2 farm houses they may have seen him and they'd surely spot him if he was running that area also there is a dog walker who walks a few dogs belonging to those farm houses( saw her returning a welsh springer which i felt could be my stolen welsh springer) i caught up with her later and i know shes down there daily, have you to spoken to her?I suppose you search little lane, traveller site and beyond regularally and have lots of posters up maybe put some posters up offering a reward by the gypsy site. Have you reported him missing to the west lancs dog wardens too cos they border wigan. And i hate to suggest it but have you contacted the highway dept,the M6 runs close by that walk doesnt it its a horrid thought but always best to check.sorry. Erics a cute puppy sized dog who hopefully has been taken in by someone close by,I spoke to every dog walker I saw and told Tays tale,you can rely on dog owners/lovers to look out for him, really hope hes home soon, best wishes from stolen Tays mum x

Hi Claire, we still haven't heard anything and it's over 3 weeks now since he went missing. we've been back to the fields and woods near where he went missing so many times with our other dog and there's nothing. Not giving up hope, sure someone somewhere is looking after him xx thanks Karen

Is there still no news or sightings on little Eric? Keep thinking about this little boy :-( Hows about getting a little team together and doing a search, I would quite happily help and I'm sure a lot of others would too :-) x

Hi Beth,
His owners been back to where he went missing from many times and searched all the fields ect but no sign of him :(
They have also contacted DW, dogs home, vets, chip company, got posters up too.
Please keep a look out for him, thank you

shared on FB ... was he badly attacked? he'll be hiding in a bush, hole or building cos of the attack. i presume the all the fields have been searched?

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (50938)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
• If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
