Just heard from dog warden that he is at Castlefield Kennels, for re-homing. They have called him Jasaper & have got a good picture of him on their website - think he's between 1 & 2 years old. Hope he gets a good home.
Belle
Please have a look at this dog, just in case

Sorry failed miserably this weekend! Couldn't check with sister re the dogs listed below, but really don't think it was any of them and forgot to take poster to Brierly Park cafe - was such a frantic weekend! Will email dog warden later today to see if I can get any info as to what has happened to this dog.

Hi Belle - it was my sister who found the dog, will get her to look at these over the weekend, although doubtful it is any of them. Have printed a poster to take to cafe at Brierly Park (brilliant cafe, run by volunteers and well-behaved dogs allowed in!), don't want to put any others up though as will not be around to remove them.
Belle
Hi Paw - please have a look at these dogs in case they could be the one you found. Thank you! :)

Will be in the area at weekend so will try to get a poster to the cafe on Brierley Park as lots of dog walkers there. Was trying to get more info. from dog warden about which kennels this dog may be in but not heard anything, so don't even know where he is now and what his fate will be. DW's are aware that I've listed him on here, shame they can't be like their neighbouring DW in Derbyshire who put their found dogs on here as well as their own website - down to funding I suppose.Last edited: 2013-04-11 09:26:52 by Paw

Just updated as was actually found on Saturday 6th. Been in touch with dog warden but they couldn't give me any more details so will ring my sister tonight and ask her if she knows any more. It had crossed my mind it could have been Olly but glad top see he's home today -what a coincidence.
Paw
Now got a picture - not very good - and can't get onto here so will email to admin and see if anyone can do anything with it
Belle
Thanks Paw - so hard to make a match with out a pic. x

My sister found the dog, think she took a photo but from indoors as every time she went out it just wanted to play. I'll get in touch with her later and see if picture is any good and try to get more info. I think Ashfield dog warden number is 01623 450000 - I haven't had chance to ring them as at work (and I am 150 miles away) but will try to ring later.
