I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you.

If that's City Way to St Williams Way that you mean Sherlock it's likely the woman will come down to Jackson's Fields and that's my morning patch. Will keep an eye open. Regarding the shops, Papas chippy would be a good spot for posters.

That's a Lhasa Apso... and I swear I saw one like this yesterday with a woman being walked at the junction of Pattens Lane with erm... the road that runs to Borstal.. by the chemist.. on the opposite side of the road... it was about ten, ten thirty ish. Could be a look alike but you never know - worth trying the shops round that way for CCTV of passers by?
