Was champ ever found? Just seen a male pug with one eye was found in wolverhampton this week. He is chipped but the details are out of date. I notice champ wasn't chipped. Could this be him - having been sold on and chipped along the way ? The fb page is called Lost and found pets and animals wolverhampton and surrounding areas. You will need to scroll down about 10 posts to find the picture of the found pug ! Chipped as Louie. x

On the 27 April we put details of a lady seen in Poulton Le Fylde with 2 pugs but with all the comments of a pug ( which was not the right one) been found we are wondering if the information was missed. So we are putting it on again because we feel it could help............ Whilst driving home about 3pm in Poulton Le Fylde we saw a lady with 2 pugs a small black one and a fawn one we are not sure if the fawn pug had one eye or not as we were in traffic. We thought it was unusual to see black and fawn pugs together never seen them in Poulton Le Fylde before, near to the old pub The Roysl Oaks. The woman was walking with a child, hope it helps.Last edited: 2014-05-09 22:05:32 by Valerie and Ian

Update: got back on the phone to St Albans Council this morning trying to confirm again, I asked was it Champ, they said the dog was Reunited with a local owner, didn't tell me anything else, so therefore it obviously couldn't of been Champ :( apologies but I was given the wrong information first time round , so looks like champ still Missing
DogLostMajorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West

Thanks Ann B and Jayne, I've forwarded to Miss Marple (Maggie) who has been working with owner.

Description on the FOUND says left eye missing. Fingers crossed it is CHAMP.

Is there any photo/s of CHAMP with his eye missing? Our Pug only has one eye and his pic can be used as a SIMILAR PHOTO if needed. xxx

Hi everyone my CHAMP IS STILL MISSING XX
DogLostreggiemollieros
There is a Pug (cross?) up for adoption at Leigh Cat and Dog home and I can't see from the photo if he his right eye is missing, as it looks very dark. They have called him Oscar http://www.leighdogsandcatshome.co.uk/adoption.html he is a tiny bit more furry than a full breed Pug but take a look so you can eliminate him.
Champ
yes champ was stolen by the lad from pall mall, champ was stolen from blackpool then taken to pall mall chorley where he lived, then took back to blackpool and sold on talbot rd, layton blackpool, thanks for your help "bossyboots" I will do this, this week !anymore advice is much much appreciated xxxxxxxxx
Champ
the young lad (i would use another word but!!)sold champ in Blackpool on Talbot rd this is the last bit of info i have his mate who lives in st annes Blackpool he confirmed this story (after heavy persuasion) but he said outside the queens pub layton but it is also on Talbot rd
The first lad said the woman in his eyes lived close as she was on foot with 2 other pugs how true this is god only knows but not 1 sighting i am on twitter also and have tweeted taxi firms radio stations in the area i am just keeping positive i will never stop searching for him never x
bossyboots
Jane, did the young lad from pall mall chorley sell champ on talbot rd, layton. Sorry im just a bit confused as to where you have traced champ's last whereabouts to? Have you put ads on all free ad sites eg preloved and gumtree? Vets may not give you customer details but you could put posters up in their practice waiting rooms. If champ only has one eye, surely someone will have seen him.
DogLostClaire Gresty - Area Co-ordinator & Police Liaison - North West
Champ's details have also been shared in Manchester pug mania & pug dog welfare & rescue x
Champ
sorry I need to add one of the lads does live in the pall mall area of chorley we traced him and his aquaintance seperately both told virtualy the same story about Champs sale.
Champ
Thank you all from my heart!!!
champ is still not home
apparently he was sold for £120 on talbot road Layton Blackpool
To a woman who has a black pug and a fawn pug !!!! I am still looking for this woman but thankyou to everybody for your help and concern any advice would be appreciated!!!
POLICE also have advised me I should mention this to you all, also the leads I was given turned out to be lies RSPCA were absolutely outstanding with there help (they have not put champ down)they searched all databases NO CHAMP which was a relief, vets can not say if they have a client with a pug that fits champs description as it is confidential,(like the doctors surgery), which I never knew, so i have apologised to all concerned. I was told the latest infomation by the 2 lads that actualy sold my CHAMP, so at moment this is my only lead...
MY BELIEF because champ has been sold and is not lost its going to be a lot harder and will be a long haul!!!
but I WILL NEVER GIVE UP IN MY SEARCH X GOD BLESS YOU ALL X JANE
DogLostMax - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
There was a Pug of similar desc on Animal wardens site, ref number 300264, (doesn't say anything about eye though!) Listed on 29/4/13, found in Bolton, may be worth a check
bossyboots
