- Wonderful news, we have Poppy back. A biker saw her and went onto Dog Lost and picked up my details. Texted to say he had seen her in Westcott (miles away) and we then got a phone call from the dog warden to say she had been picked up by a couple. Thanks so much everyone for your efforts!!!!

- I am in West Horsley so near both Effingham and Netley/Francis Corner and very happy to help with looking for Poppy and letting others know. When you get a second, it'd be great to have a bit more information please about where she was lost. Good luck with the search and hope she is home soon.

- Thanks Clarkey, I have texted you my email address, we have started postering and tried to contact dog wardens they all seem to be closed for the weekend. Tried all the vets that are open but really hoping someone will hand her in on Monday to a vet. Will start calling dog wardens again on Monday.

- Sorry to see Poppy is missing .. wld you say exactly where and how she was lost please? I have 'shared' Poppy's page on Fbk DL South East/ESussex. You will see that you can share and tweet directly fm this page. Please register Poppy as lost with yr dog warden and that of surrounding areas asap if you hv not done so already. You can check the dogs they hv found too http://www.animalwardens.co.uk/lost-found-dogs-search/all-dog-warden-phone-numbers Also please inform microchip co that Poppy is missing. You can print posters direct fm Poppy's poster page..then poster everywhere you can. If she has bn picked up the finder will hopefully see one and contact you. Bear in mind that if it is very wet weather Poppy will probably try to find shelter so ask people to check their sheds/outhouses etc. Hopefully someone will have taken her in and will report her (which is the law) Good luck with the search and I hope you find Poppy very soon. - Thank you Lisa and Chris for looking, and to all the others for advice, we have been out for hours and no sign, I am hoping she has been picked up by a kind dog walker and is safe indoors. Will speak to you tomorrow as we will be out early looking up at Netley and Francic Corner.

- I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you. Glad she's microchipped. I'll share on golden retriever forum. Hope this pretty girl is back on her comfy sofa soon.

- Just got back in looking for Poppy & no sign - Been out since about 3:40pm & continued to Sheepleas & Francis Wood. Please can you let us know which are the areas you would like us to look & we will be back out tomorrow with our Golden Retrievers. If she's not found tonight can I suggest to leave some tinned pilchards or sardines nearby where you park the car/start the walk - these have a very strong smell to dogs & she'll be hungry. Please feel free to call us directly if you can give us anymore info as to where she ran off as we are more than happy to help Tel: 07939 078790 - Lisa & Chris Baker
