- No luck yet then? sometimes people take cats in thinking they are lost, feed them, and of course the cat thinks they are in a new home. Fingers xd.

- Skippy...thank you very much. It is really frustrating as I had a message saying he was spotted in the Morrisons area of Denbigh and I was there at the time but nobody called me back! That is only about two miles from home! He is very distinctive as he has thumbs on every paw and he "peeps" rather than meows.
There has been a spate of ginger cats going missing this area. It really isn't like him to go far as he is like his home comforts.
Many thanks again for your help/advice ~x~ - 2013-04-14 20:57 skippy
- Catchat website has a great action plan of things you can or should do. Many of these will be the same as for finding a lost dog, - but link is here if there is anything you haven't thought of yet -
http://www.catchat.org/lost.html
The link above also gives some ideas of how and when to search if you have had a reported isghting. Hope it helps.
They also have a list of local rescues all of who might be contacted if a cat is found - http://www.catchat.org/adoption/walesn.html
I also assume you have contacted all your local vets - make sure they all get his details. Cats tend to travel a little less than dogs so lots of fliers through local doors can be really effective. Encourage neighbours to check garages and sheds to make sure he hasn't got himself shut in somewhere. Keep an eye on windowsills of any empty houses or houses where neighbours may be on holiday.
Good luck with your hunt - he might just waltz in again at any time. They can be little monkeys when then want to be!x - 2013-04-13 23:00 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
