From what I can make out Diesel went missing in Dec 2012 (dont know how) and was found tied to a tree. He was found by a family who took him to the PDSA for a check up. He wasnt scanned for a chip . He remained with the family who found him. He then went missing again in April 2013 was found on the day he was lost, scanned for a chip and was reunited with his original and legal owners who had lost him in Dec 2012. Big mix up, poor dog, poor family who took him in, all could have beeen avoided if checked for a chip in the first place!!! I dont think original owner tied him to tree. He seems like a bit of an escape artist if he has escaped twice in 4 months. xx

I am confjused too, as kit states that the fanily`s son was missing him? At least Diesel is sade anyway:-)xxx

Just seen this on fb as well and I'm still none the wiser....is this poor baby in safe hands now?....was it the previous owner that left him tied to the tree or what? xxx

Poor boy sounds like he doesn't know whether he is coming or going. I hope he finds a home where he can spend plenty if happy years rather than being passed from pillar to post x

Spoke to owner Diesel was picked up the same night he went missing and returned to his previous owner.

Apparently, owner had advertised him for sale on gumtree before he went missing, just to clarify any confusion. Owner is actively looking for him.

I ve spoken to the person who spotted him , he was in manor road , smethwick between 2 - 3 pm yesterday afternoon. He said there was a couple of people trying to call him over , by hitting there leg , but he didnt go to them xx

Spoke to owner he has been spotted in Smethwick. Owner found him last year tied to a tree on the canal in Netherton, she took him to the PDSA but he was not scanned, so we are unsure if he is chipped. He is not good with unknown dogs, so he is mainly kept in the house.

Diesel may have been spotted in pottery road , warley near the morrisons at 5pm .. but drove about for another 4 hours and nothing x
