Just had a phone call from the very happy owner of Misty. He has just picked her up from Ingham kennels. It seems that 2 weeks ago a lady found Misty and she was in a terrible state after living wild for a couple of weeks. This kind lady took her in kept her safe. She was worried that Misty was a travellers dog and didn't want her to go back to them. However this morning she took her to Ingham kennels and they in turn contacted the owner who had left his details with them when Misty first ran away. It is the owners wedding anniversary today so there will be a double celebration tonight. Owner wants to thank everyone for their help and has offered to help Doglost in the future.

That's such good news. Hope she stays in the area and you can find her.Just had a long chat with Misty's dad. It seems she is staying in the area. There is plenty of cover for Misty as there is a woodland and there is also water for her to drink. The family are still actively looking for Misty. Hopefully they will get another sighting soon.Last edited: 2013-04-23 11:49:14 by AlisonH

Up date from owners daughter...
Hello
You put misty on dogs lost from 11th April(I think). We have had another sighting and I wondered if you could update the site as when I tried to register for my mum it wouldn't let me. She has been missing since 3rd April sighted on 6th near bestthorpe and collingham. She was sighted again in a garden of a house near nature reserve near Girton, Notts.
Thank you in advance

Just spoken to the owner and he and his family have done absoloutely everything to find Misty. They were staying at their caravan at Torksey lock when she jumped over the veranda rail. This is totally out of character as she is a rescue dog and normally stays close to her owners. Police, Dog warden, vets and all kennels in the area have been notified. Appeals have gone out on both Lincs and Notts FM. The highways department have been made aware as have all the local farmers. Owners have visited the local traveller sites and left posters.
