Must admit to having a panic when I saw Trouble on a rehoming page, but thanks to Sherlock, we now know the story. Mathers22, you weren't to know either, so thank you for posting again. Excellent news that Trouble will have a lovely new home, hopefully a forever one, very soon. x

Thanks for the full story Sherlock. I understand Mathers' concerns and we all only want the best for the dogs. Thank goodness Trouble's original owner and the fabulous dog warden were like-minded.

Sorry about my earlier remark I didn't know the circumstances. I just feel so sorry for all the people on here who are tirelessly searching for their dogs for years, some never knowing the ending. Just ruffled the hairs on the back of my neck. Hope he gets a lovely home xx

OK before you all get narkey, owner did all he could to find him - he had in fact rehomed him to the home that lost him and went all out to find him. He was rehomed because original owner moved to a flat. Second owner didn't want Trouble back and original owner, because he cares about trouble, and can't have him in the flat for obvious reasons, has signed him over to the dog warden who has secured a great rescue space for him. THINK before you judge owners, then post on here please. This man has acted incredibly responsibly for his dog. Jobadger - thank you, I am sure he will be rehomed in no time. The DW insists on permitting dogs to go to reputable rescues with no kill policies only and is very strict on this. He did a great job in caring for Trouble and getting him reunited.

I hope this gorgeous boy gets a new home quickly............ we don't know the circumstances for his owner having to relinquish such a lovely lad.............

Have spoken to owner and he will collect him asap. However may not be till tomorrow. The dog warden is aware of this and is being great about the fees! Well done Dartford dog warden!

this dog is with the dog warden - he has left messages with owner - but Jayne if you speak with him please urge him to contact him asap

Owner confesses to be not very good on the internet...And had to admit neither was I...he has a photo on his facebook page...double dutch to me..so if anyone could be kind enough to ring or text he can send you the link...or rather..in his own words...can tell you how to find him on facebook...tx
