Of course these evil monsters would dump Princess where they know there is no cctv. Dont know this area, as I live in a Central area. However you would think that someone would be aware of a person owning a Lurcher, and then the dog isn`t there any more. One day hopefully these evil individuals will get their comeuppance. aww thanks peeps no chance of any cctv, micklefield is a little village with many fields and where she was sighted been dumped its just open fields so they knew where to dump her...the tumors in her neck were choking her and it had spread to her lymph glands so dogs trust said they spoke with dog warden who came up and visited her andthey all agreed it was best to end her suffering...i felt bad when i dropped her off as when i turned she was looking at me had i not already taken 2 abandoned dogs in and rescued 2 cats from rspca i would have tried to help save her as she wasnt old but at least she wasnt hit by a car or left roaming to die someone alone.....oh well keep up the good work you guys helping the animals that need us to care ...x

Rachel. God bless you for your kind heart. Perhaps cctv may have picked something up on cctv? Or maybe someone has an idea whom the dog belonged to. Presume the RSPCA has been notified? Roll on 2016 when all dogs will have to be "Chipped" it may stop this kind of lowlife scum from abandoning dogs like this. Night, night sweet girl, sleep tight, and have fun at the bridge now you are out of pain, and away from that scum. Whoever you are I hope you never find peace; At least she had some love at the end. How sad another one at The Bridge. She only looks young but I can see the lumps on her neck. Hope lowlife scum (can't be called owners) who dumped her get their cumuppance !!

rang the dogs trust today to find out if they had any news of the dog and apparently just prior to me finding her a transit van was seen dumping her, the vets had a look at her and she was riddled with cancer everywhere and was very sick so she had to be put to sleep :(((( there is truely some evil people out there ..

Poor dog. You could always hope that these are not tumours but maybe bites/stings or even abscess(es) that have festered etc and can be treated. At least she's safe now and will get the care and attention that is obviously needed. xx
