- Other Info Large female hound - possibly a Foxhound, spotted living in woods/open farmland. Very nervous girl who runs off when approached. White hound. Brown right ear (couldn't see her left ear)

- We could see tonight both the hounds ears are brown. The rest of its body seems all white. Still can't get anywhere near to clearly sex it Im afraid.

- Christine now tells me she has been in contact with Mel who has been watching the hound and the initial information she has passed on sounds promising. They are arranging someone local to the area to check out the situation.

- It was I owner by proxy, The hounds are listed as missing with my dog Penny taken at the same time. Actually she is the keeper as she was walking them for the local hunt. We havent been able to make contact with her this evening. I'll keep trying so we can find out which hound is the female. Gill has given me the number of the girl who has been closest to the hound and best able to give details.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
