Thanks Becky. @doggo: Thanks. I might see you around Chorlton with your border collie. We offer the lady a reward but she didn't want it, so I bought a nice bottle of wine for her.

hi doggo, it's a Japanese name and it means 'black', but 'kuri' it's maori for dog.

Wonderful news-what a relief for you all-and for Kuro too-now he's safely back home with his people. He has a very unusual name is it a Maori name? So glad he's home and safe.

Just got this message from Kuros owner

Kuro is back! A lady found him in his garden this morning and called us. He was shaking and looked scared but she was able to persuade him to come inside and then she found our phone number on the capsule on his collar He was in college street, close to Manley park and park drive. We are so so happy! Thank you so much for all your help!

BRILLIANT NEWS THAT HES HOME. Stay safe now young man xx

Kuro is back! A very nice lady found him on her garden this morning and called us (she found our phone number on the capsule on his collar). He`s fine and he looks very happy to be home.
Goldenfrodo
I used to live in that area and have friends and family still there.
I'll send Kuro's poster to them so they can keep a look out.
Come on little boy, let somebody help you get back to your family xx

Have spoken to Erica on how to act if hes seen and wont approach them
Ericab
apparently kuro has been seen this morning at around 9am in Manley park area. the person who saw him tried to call him, but he looked very scared and escaped. Manley park is one of the few areas he knows, so it's likely that he's still around there.
Ericab
Kuro is still missing, please help spreading the word.

We've been in touch all day with Manchester Dogs Home and City Council. Will do a walk early in the morning. We are doing everything we can, but we ha a very young baby and one of us has to be at home all the time (too cold and rainy yesterday to take the baby outside)
Becky AW
Its also worth staying in touch with Manchester Dogs Home and Manchester City Council during the daytime. Come home soon Kuro!! X
doggo
Go out in the early hours, calling his name quietly. Kuro might be more likely to come out then if he's hiding. Stay awhile and move on slowly, giving him to time to come if he's nearby. Do hope is home very soon
Ericab
Thanks so much for all your help. No news yet. Been putting posters around in the area.

Ashleigh Vets on Upper Chorlton Rd.is your nearest vets-excellent place to poster, poster all the little shops opposite there.Upper Chorlton Rd too as far as and including the area round Aldi is busy-just plaster the place & put flyers through all your neighbours doors in streets locally in case he's hiding out. I do hope he's home and safe very soon.

Dear doggo, thanks. We are in Clarendon Road West. He only arrived from overseas 1 week ago, so he doesn't know the area well. I visited the small parks we usually go to and we are now putting posters around. Will let you know if we need help this evening!
doggo
I've sent Kuro's details out to people who might be out and about in Chorlton today-but it's a big area. Depending on where you are I'd poster the parks first- Chorlton Water Park, Chorlton Park, Longford Park, Sale Water park, then the shops nearby and the library, Morrison's supermarket and in and around the precinct. I'm in Chorlton and have Border Collies-could give you a hand looking/postering this evening- send me a message via Dog Lost, but fingers crossed he's found by then.
