Been a very sad and happy day today. I've been to a funeral of a family friend who was the grand age of 95 rest in peace Betty you will be missed by all who knew you.

It was fantastic to get the news that CHANG had been located especially after the mix up with the RSPCA who I deal with a lot and have always been very helpful and even matched dogs from posters etc.

Had a very long telephone conversation tonight with one very happy family who are over the moon with the great result; all the family have been amazing and their hard work has paid off for them.

Cannot thank everyone enough for all the help and support. Pete Price (Radio Show) and Liverpool Echo were great. The journalist I spoke to this morning was away but passed it onto another colleague who contacted the family. It was while they were on the phone to the family the news came in from the RSPCA that the chip number matched the found which was CHANG.

THANK YOU to the family for sharing the lovely REUNITED photo of Chang with his dad and finder who did a great job in looking after him. The finder’s children were sad to see him go and hopefully they will get a dog of their own. THANK YOU for all you have done.

A lot of people will have a well deserved sleep tonight.

Chang’s family cannot thank DL and everyone enough and are going to stay on as helpers which is great.

I know you think Chang was stolen but is it possible he's missing his mum too as has gone looking for her? Double check all the places / walks his mum used to take him. I'm sure you would have contacted the chip company to let them know Chang is missing but just a reminder in case. Really hope he's home soon. x

Thank you to the person who passed a message onto Pete Price radio show saying they are looking out for Chang after seeing him on DogLost. Pete gave the details out for the DogLost website and reiterated that if anyone does not report Chang as found they are breaking the LAW. I've just heard Pete mention it on the radio. :)x

Where family live is a very quiet close, Chang was behind family member one minute and then just disappeared. It is now thought he has been STOLEN, family started searching within minutes of him going missing.

I've gone through things with family and advised they contact the Liverpool Echo and The Champion a.s.a.p. today in the hope they can do some coverage especially with the sad circumstances of the loss of Chang's owner.

Received another photo from family and have done a group one. Info advice in more details will be emailed to family who are already doing a great job in their search. Posters have started been put up in the area. RSPCA has been contacted, I spoke to the RSPCA myself today and they said the family had been in touch.

We need to make Chang TOO HOT TO HANDLE. I will start sharing his details on fb. x

This dog belonged to my mother who recently died of cancer, leaving my father & the dog. The dog keeps my dad going as he takes him for walks. getting him back out after the death of my mother was hard, but we encouraged him saying things like my mum won't be happy you not taking her dog out. Now the dogs lost we are concerned he will go down hill, so any information on him we would be very grateful, the dogs name is Chang. We are willing to give a £500 reward for any information to him
