- Great news....

- Turns out she was about 200 yards from the trail Wispa had shown us, so had remained on the circuit which linked her regular walking places. She has dropped some weight and is very tired so spending a lot of the time catching up on food and sleep.

- Just got a call from Mark who is very happy and relieved. Ember is home! She was found by a couple from Bradfield who were driving along, saw her near a bridge on the valley road and picked her up.

- We got a lovely fresh scent less than 24 hrs old, and followed it for nearly 3 hours. The trail went through the wood where Ember was last seen, then down to the reservoirs and alongside it for quite a way, than up through woodland on to a high single track road past a quarry, then looping back to the start. 6 or 7 miles I suspect. It would seem that Ember has gone round all her usual walking places and we think she is somewhere on or within that circuit. She was sticking to the paths and we think she was looking for Mark, as the sighting last night was at a place where he had been whistling for her. He had just gone home and then someone saw her. People have been very helpful and are doing loads of posters.

- There was a sighting of Ember last night around 8, she had gone up to the road. Wispa and I will be going to help search today.

- Have left messages for Mark who is probably out searching and may not have a good mobile signal in the hills.

- Thought I knew this dog! Ember went missing a couple of years ago but was found by her owner caught in a fence. Then Mark and Ember helped us with searches for other dogs. I will give Mark a call shortly.
