Have had call fm owner Becky (Bex), says she's searched Bodiam, Ewhurst and Sandhurst areas as that's where dogs could hv got to across the fields. Also has put more posters thru doors. Dogs ARE microchipped!

Thanks for checking Becky. Hv bn to meet Becky today. So many places the dogs could be.. probably chased the deer in area which wld hv headed for the woods. Apparently Coco is pregnant and pups are due. I'm wondering if she has given birth by now, if so, she will be holed up and wouldn't leave the pups. Plenty of food out there and Senna to protect her. However, seems odd he didn't go home as would know the way back up the lane if they hadn't gone too far. Asked Becky to get the photos on here asap. springermad .. sorry I missed you!

Hi Becky .. Coco already on there http://www.animalwardens.co.uk/lost-found-dogs-search?sobi2Task=sobi2Details&_____catid=0&sobi2Id=56716 but can't find Senna! Hv just spoken to Becky and hv asked for photos which she will try to do. Hv persuaded hubby to come and have a scout around with me this afternoon! There's a possibility Coco is having puppies. Thanks springermad. I have sent initial email advice and list of all the rescue centres and vets I can think of that are in the area. The first to check would obviously be Blue Cross at Northiam. Also Viking Oak as they take dogs that are handed in..try to visit rather than tel if possible. Poster everywhere and anywhere you can as it definitely works..even if sightings are old they will help you to know where your dogs have been and you will see a pattern of their movement (usually a triangle or circle) You can then concentrate your search inside that area. I'm hoping you will find that they are at a dog wardens somewhere ..Folkestone are not with animalwardens.co.uk to inform them too please. Good luck!

Hi,I spoke to you on monday morning in Dixter Lane, when I was walking my springers. I had a good look round the fields behind the playing fields, and again yesterday. The only thing I heard was alot of barking from gardens near strawberry hill, Ewhurst Lane, but couldn't get close enough to see what dogs they were. I have spoken to a fair number of walkers over the last couple of days and they are also keeping an eye out. Funnily enough I thought you must have found the dogs as I saw a lady with a black and sable german shepherd this morning along main street in Northiam and I thought it was you, and presumed you had found your dogs. It must have been someone else with a similar dog. (around 9am with the dog on a lead on the newenden side of Northiam) I think the best thing is to start postering asap, because the people who I spoke to have all said is there a telephone number to call if they are spotted. If you get the posters up with a number, that should be a great help.

Sorry to see that COCO is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (51577)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
