Danielle, I don't think the owners are checking on here, so maybe worth sending a text to them about the sighted dog you have posted about? Maybe ask that they post on here if they have had any further info, or sightings from their posters and searches etc. Be good to get an update.

Thanks Jayne. Went over yesterday with JB and Tiga but results confusing as no strong scent found. However has bn 2 wks since missing and were covering areas dogs would hv bn in previously. Definitely not enough posters up fm owners but have given them lots now so hope more will be up soon. Sighting in fields below Dixter Lane/Weights woods area about 10(?)days ago.

Thanks glossoplass. I've had a look and Senna has sable on his paws so don't think it's him. Having probs keeping in touch with owners as no internet unless she goes to her mothers. Will try to contact her again later though. 19.30..had call fm owner, says she's searched Bodiam, Ewhurst and Sandhurst areas as that's where dogs could hv got to across the fields. Also has put more posters thru doors. Dogs ARE microchipped! She will hv a look at GSD found in G'bury but thinks not Senna. I have emailed and texted etc for photos and contact but owner said has not called yet. Looks like Coco is on animalwardens but not Senna(???) Will try to call again. Thanks Pinktabbykitten but Senna was only lost on 21st April.

I don't really know how far the areas are but going by the description of this dog - black sable paws, I would look at the dog called Jacob on http://westendfarmkennels.co.uk/rehoming/listings he too is entire and although listed at 7+ looks quite young from the photo.

Can owners register dogs with Animal Wardens as I think we cover this area, nothing reported in for either dog so far but just in case :)

Good to see posters up around this village this morning, let's hope someone has seen something over the last few days and you get some news.
DogLostSpringerMad - Area Volunteer, East Sussex
oh, forgot to add, the sooner you can upload a pic of the dogs on here, then Admin will send out emails to all members in local postcodes, which will help greatly too.

I've posted a message for you on coco's thread.

Sorry to see that SENNA is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (51579)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
