Brilliant he's found! Make sure you change the microchip details if at all possible. Also take dated 'fingerprint' photos of the underside, if you haven't already done so!
He'll be happy to be back in his own territory.

Also if you have photos of the plastron (underneath) the pattern is as individual as a fingerprint. Photos too where your torts size can be judged easily, eg next to a milk bottle or something familiar to everyone....

Hi, no I dont have the micro chip number but I will call the vets tomorrow to see if it is listed on his file. Have been out tonight scouring the fields just in case he did manage to escape a closed green house! Missing him already, he was such a character & so friendly....fingers crossed!!
