Nik, from the last 3 posts she's obviously still logged into her computer, the evil malicious cow. Get it in your head, Krysia. You are not welcome here, the dog is not white. It is fawn brindle. If it was white we would say it was white. Lenmut is helpfull checking to see if the dog in the rescue might possibly be Clover even if it is listed as a different colour at that rescue. You see, she is doing something useful to help the owner. UNLIKE YOU NOW SOD OFF!!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Krysia Marsh I have d eleted both your posts and all four registrations using alias you made to this site last night. Do not post again and do not waste this owners and our helpers time. They are distressed enough without you adding to their misery time and time again. If anyone would like Krysia's email/phone/address let me know and we'll see how she likes to be bothered all the time. Apologies if any owners have received calls from a polish lady pretending to be a concerned helper, although she usually pretends to be a journalist. She is not, she is simply mad and a complete time waster with nothing better to do than harrass owners with nonsense. Leave us all alone Krysia... Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Michael we share your concern for Clover and really want to see this page turn blue. We feel so sorry for Mrs Stenborg, so many whippet people have told me what a lovely lady she is and you can be sure they are all on the look out for Clover. Toledo and I were supposed to be in Kent this week and had planned on postering and checking on suspect places, unfortunately a "school bug" has forced us to cancel. There will be many people doing their best to bring Clover home where she belongs.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
The Dog Walker
Hello my name is Michael, Clover's dog walker and a dear friend to Patricia Stenborg. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody for their kind words, thoughts and suggestions regarding Clover. I have been with Clover since the first day she arrived as a little puppy of only a few weeks of age. For the last three and a half years she has given myself and Patricia endless joy. She was a mischievous little puppy that through careful training and love developed into the most beautiful little lady one could every encounter. My heart is torn apart by the thought that I will never see her again bounding through the buttercups this summer. I would like to especially thank Sue Baker and the lady called 'Whippet' and once again everyone else who has expressed their thoughts and concerns regarding Clover, and the fantastic work of Dog lost UK I hope all our prayers are answered. Mediawise this is my assessment re TV. Possible for the local area, but there's been a lot of publicity locally and nothing. Might pick up on psychic. With regard to Nottingham, the only local angle is the psychic and they will think this rather off the wall and too remote. There's no other information that points to the area in the north either. However, I've had another idea.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This breaks my heart - I wish there was something I could do. It is so frustrating knowing she has been taken and is definately out there somewhere but just not being able to track her down... is there any way doglost could get this on TV? Being 82 certainly deserves some very immediate and special treatment... any possibilities of an interview with the owner that could be shown on a local station? Whoever has her must be made aware that they have not only stolen somebody's dog, but they are causing serious harm to a very elderly lady. I'm sure they would put it on the local news... they show so many stories that really are not justified, but this certainly is. Personally, I would get in touch with the news desk immediately. This needs FULL coverage.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I honestly don't know what to think - initially my thoughts were this was a stolen to order case, but certain aspects leave me confused. Tomorrow I am meeting the owner and her helper whom are going to go through the day she was stolen so hopefully I may pick up some clues? Thank you Whippet for checking out wood cutting firms in the Nottingham area - if there are any helpers whom can help check these out that would be great and I'm sure the owner would be delighted. I will let her know tomorrow how you (Whippet) have been informing so many of the Whippet people. I think we must keep an open mind on this case for now.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have found three tree cutting firms around Nottingham, maybe someone up there could keep a watch on the people who work there for a grey car? If this is fact why would they travel all the way from Nottingham to steal a whippet when there are lots up there? Or did they happen to be in the area at the time and this was an opportunist theft? Just throwing in thoughts to see if we can unravel this, what does nayone else think?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have spoken to owner and yes you are correct she has contacted a clairvoyant and has been told she was taken by two men of very different ages, who are in the wood cutting business in the Nottingham area, it is their intention to sell her on, she was also told Clover was ok, this has obviously given her some hope. I am visiting her on Friday so will up date any further news. Clover was stolen from this ladies garden she was in a run with another older whippet which they left. Tyre marks were found and a grey car was seen in the area at the time. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have just read on another site that a clairvoyant says that 2 men took Clover to Nottingham and then she was passed on north. Nik whenever a whippet appears on here we alert as many whippet people as we can and this we did at last weekend's show. We are at another this next weekend and we will continue to spread the word. What I will get on to now is to look up the whippet people in the Kent area and ask them to look around. Some of the people I spoke to last Saturday knew of this lady and were most concerned so I know they are already watching for Clover. Have we any clues whether this dog was taken from the house or garden and do we know any details of the thief?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Do we think this whippet was stolen to order ? In which case Clover's details need to go out to the Whippet community far and wide. Whippet & Toledo is this something you'd be able to do ?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

No matter whom I speak to in this area everyone knows of Clovers dissappearance, the coverage has been excellent with posters, local paper and radio Kent, this has all been done by owners very close friend and dog walker to whom I have spoken today, but sadly they have no leads what so ever. We are both very concerned for the owner whom is 82 and missing her beloved pet, she also has another whippet which the thieves left behind, probably because she is old but she is also seriously missing Clover. The owner feels this dog has been taken out of the area and this is where we need help. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Luci's Owner
How very sad, another whippet. My thoughts are with the owner. Hope Clover is found very soon...x x (Luci 28.1.05)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Presumably this dog has been stolen. Another pretty low theft! Stay safe Clover 'til you are returned to your "mum".Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

yes it would be worth trying Brian because Tonbridge is so close to T Wells. I'm in Tonbridge on Wed and if she's not found by then will put up posters at the various colleges and library I'm visitingLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

yes it does seem to go in stages-more likely that breed clubs and rescues are giving out our details-hence more dogs of certain breeds being reported to us.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
