So pleased. Yes the owners are very lucky indeed that their dog has been reunited with them. Hope they listen to the vet and respond quickly to updating everything. x

Have had email to say that Lenny was reunited with his owner after she and the vets traced them (eventually!) through his microchip. "Luckily even though his chip was never registered properly they somehow had details on the system from a previous time he had wondered off and been returned, one of the phone numbers on the system was still being used by the owners and they returned a voicemail that the veterinary nurse left.
The veterinary nurse called me to let me know that the owners had been in contact and were on their way to pick Lenny up! I think the owners were in for a telling off about the out of date micro chip when they arrived!"Last edited: 2013-05-03 00:52:16 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

Finder took the dog thought to be called Lenny to vets in Brighton. Microchip has been checked and owner's address was down as Pulborough, West Sussex, but no answer on telephone, so it's possible details are not up to date. The finder says Lenny is a well behaved and well looked after dog.
