- Mr Baginski, Abi has been rehomed from the kennels as her microchip information was out of date and they could not contact you. The only thing that I can suggest is that you contact the kennels, explain the situation and ask them to speak to the new owners on your behalf.

- I dont know the details of this particular case but it is difficult to alert the dog wardens in all areas a lost dog could possibly end up .There is no overall lists of reported missing dogs for wardens to check found against. My friend notified both the local and surrounding area dog wardens but still the dog was found further afield so everyone seemed unaware and her dog was pts on the 8th day.Ok the dog should have been chipped, but when it went missing it did have a collar and tag.Last edited: 2013-05-05 18:51:08 by pixies peeps

- Caz. I agree with you, but such a sad situation for the owner. It is so important to update details: microchip etc. Have a great life in your new home.

- Maybe I'm being judgemental but surely the 1st thing you do when losing your dog is circulate details all local wardens & kennels etc imeadiately! had this been done then this sad situation could have been avoided, Hard way to learn a lesson on importance of updating chip.
