I spoke to Monty's owners who said dog warden said M's chip was not registered which seems strange. I've suggested they contact vet who m'chipped him to get the details and see why/if registration has not gone through and that they might be wise to talk to Petlog about this. Luckily Monty's owners were not charged fees, so seems kennel staff have a good heart! Turns out Monty is an old lad so will be very relieved to be back with his loving family! Such a shame he was not reunited the same day though.

WONDERFUL so pleased he's home. Must have been awful not knowing but the outcome in the end is fantastic. SAFE xx

So glad Monty is home where he belongs, what an unnecessary delay it seems......at least he was safe, though.

Fantastic news, I am so pleased!! Sorry you have both had such a horrible time and missed enjoying a lovely bank holiday but he's home!!!
kitchenmama

We are also confused as to why nobody contacted us once Monty was scanned. We feel very let down as none of the stress etc was necessary as he was found within an hour or 2 of going missing.Instead we were left not knowing anything until the next night!!!We are getting him today as we could not find where he was at all thru the wknd.We couldn't get to speak to anyone who knew exactly where he was.So fingers crossed Monty will be back with his Daddy within the next couple of hours. Thanks again for the help.Much appreciated. We just wish the warden/vet etc had done their job properly.Just glad to be getting him back where he belongs today.I have a feeling Monty is gonna get lots and lots of cuddles today!!x

Thanks cs. Still confused as to why they have not got in touch with the owner when Monty is microchipped(details should be up to date as landline is still the same) Surely they scan the dogs? It's also possible Monty is at BDCH now if moved on fm holding kennels.
cs
I just had a go on the Council numbers myself. The emergency out of hours number 0208 348 3148 does work and does get you through to a human once you select the right options. The woman I spoke to said they can put you in touch with the dog warden and you can get a dog out before Tuesday but they can only deal direct with the owner
kitchenmama
We still haven't been able to actually speak to anyone to confirm they have him safe. Are we to just wait til office hours?!?We just wanna know exactly where he is.We've tried all the numbers but no luck. The no 0208 4895546 is out of order.

It appears Monty was found by someone on same day he went missing & dog wardens collected him. Wondering why they did not contact the owner as Monty is microchipped. As you see fm below cs saw info on H'y forum with piccy..it is Monty. When owner spoke to out of hours service they said they would not get him back till Tues. Have suggested they try BDCH as it's mentioned on the site that they move them there 'at any time' Otherwise it's Tues but at least he should be in good hands.

kitchenmama That's brilliant. I've just found this page which has yet another number re out of hours so maybe have a look and try that http://www.haringey.gov.uk/index/environment_and_transport/noise_animalcontrol/animal-welfare/dog_registration.htm
Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
If that number does not come up as right try Haringey dog warden 0208 4895546 (fm animalwardens site) However,if that's not an out of hours number the owner may have to wait to claim him. If the dog wardens scan his microchip, provided the details are up to date, they should call him.
kitchenmama
Thats him for sure!I know that beautiful face anywhere!!!!This is amazing!I thought he was gone for good. Thanks everyone so so much!!!

We both posted at the same time! Well spotted cs and thanks for contacting owner, the photo certainly looks like his boy. Waiting to hear whether it's him!
cs
Correct number for Haringey Council dog warden is actually 0208 489 1000. Have texted owner to say so.

Thanks cs. I've sent a text asking them to look at yr post on page. Fingers crossed it's Monty.
cs
Just made contact with the owner, he is calling the council now!
cs

cs
Please look urgently at Harringayonline.com and look at message about lost dogs or if that's not working just search monty on google - someone is saying they found a dog which looks like him!!
cs
The owner must be going crazy living so far away. Do we know what exactly happened? What is Monty's personality?
kitchenmama
Its Haringey,Mattison Road. The owner is going 1st thing in the morning to put up posters but the more the merrier. This is very upsetting.
cs
I can see where it is on the map. I will go tomorrow and put up posters and spread the word

Kitchenmam .. Wld you confirm address pls. Is it Harringate or Haringey?
kitchenmama
The above info is correct.I'm the partner of the owner and posted the other profile.I was mistaken with the address.Sorry for the confusion.
cs
Yes the owner of the house where Monty's owner was working when he was lost has posted this elsewhere and its Mattison Road Harringay so best if poster could be changed
cs
Just trying to work out where this address is - is it Mattison Road Haringay?
