Kane is home with his mum. Smiles and wags all round. His owner would like to thank the lovely Doglost ladies who donated the funds for his release fee. He is getting a new collar and tag this afternoon and will be microchipped asap.

Fee has now been paid. I will move to reunited as soon as Kane is back home with his mum.

Have spoken to the owner again today and told her to call the council to ask if they will either reduce the fee or let her pay in installments. She said she will but she doesn't think they will oblige. Kane is just 10 months old.Last edited: 2013-05-08 16:58:45 by AlisonH

Release fees should be made flexible. Even weekly payments on direct debit should be an option.Last edited: 2013-05-06 19:51:28 by hayleyb

Just received a text from the owner to say Kane is in the dog pound but they cannot afford to pay the release fee. He is being held at Blackhouse Farm kennels at Aslackby FenLast edited: 2013-05-06 16:44:38 by AlisonH
