No - she is totally black - she is a cross breed really, the collie cross description makes people look for a black and white dog...

There MAY have been sightings of Roxy in HELMSHORE, one lady behind her fence on 2 occasions on Friday and Sunday mornings on Devon Crescent (opposite Haslingden High School on Broadway) and another lady at the back of Rossendale Golf Club on Monday morning. They can't be sure it's her, but that's all we have had in 3 weeks...Last edited: 2013-05-28 11:40:30 by Mark96

NO sightings after coming up to 2 weeks, she has just vanished into thin air, nothing whatsoever since the day she got out.. Has there ever been no sightings of dogs gone missing?

A volunteer from Bleakholt has been to Leigh dogs home today to check on the dog and it isn't Roxy....

Hi, about the dog at Leigh, I would advise you to ring again-my friend lost her dog,, someone rang her to say it was possibly taken there, when she rang Leigh someone else said oh it's not your dog, but she went anyway to check and it was her dog, they just hadn't scanned him all over (his chip had moved round his neck!) - they are so busy there sometimes it pays to speak to someone else there.

Hi Scoobster, I have just contacted Leigh and the dog they have isn't microchipped.. So it isn't Roxy, but thanks for looking..Last edited: 2013-05-08 17:30:06 by Mark96

I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you. She looks gorgeous, hope she's back soon.

There is no photo available of Roxy and so far there hasn't been a sighting of her at all. People are out searching.
Admin
Sorry to see that ROXY STILL MISSING is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (52042)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
