- This dog is currently in a foster home waiting for Susie to visit when she is back in the country. Will keep everyone updated with what happens.

- Any news of this dog/Guinness? I'm hoping better pictures have been emailed to Susie in Canada?
- 2013-05-14 16:54 Susie13
- Thank you both! I am going to call Glanda when her number is passed onto me by Sarah who visited the pound.

- I have been in touch with Glenda - she is visiting the pound later and will check out the dog again - I have spotlighted the area that needs to be scanned and requested that a universal scanner or halo which will both pick up the German chip - the found dog appears to have prick ears like a scottie though which I cannot see in any of the images of Guiness that I have seenLast edited: 2013-05-14 10:37:22 by Angus

- Susie this page may not be monitered - it does not set off alerts if someone posted. I can see the rescue have a web site and email address on it, best to also email them at the same time you post here (as you are not in the UK~). pdrescue@hotmail.comLast edited: 2013-05-14 09:03:09 by Sammie

- Where on the body was he scanned please? As I have had a message forwarded to me from a reliable source in the know about microchips for dogs in other countries. They also asked their own question about 'what scanner was used?' Thanks again.

- Glenda is offline today as she is transporting a dog from pound in Midlands to Carlisle. The phone number for the pound where this dog currently is - 01676 540608 - perhaps they can look for something to help identify if this is Guinness. I have tagged Glenda in the post on our page for when she gets back from her journey x

- Due to temporarily living out in Canada there is a 7 hour time difference! Is the pound able for me to call the mobile numbers provided at 10:30pm tonight. As I am currently in work?
Thanks all for your best wishes, I really hope and pray it is him. And a good point was made about him maybe being taken away from the area too! I just want my little boy back home where he belongs xxx - 2013-05-12 15:48 JD

- I am curious to know if my following question is possible! If Little man isn't claimed by anyone else and his 7 days in the pound come to an end, will he be going to a foster home? As I am back in the UK for a couple of weeks from June 8th, and would love to see him for myself where ever he may be staying. I am wondering if it would be possible for me to see him before any arrangements for re-homing are made. Thank you for all of your help.
- 2013-05-12 00:05 Susie13
- Glenda, could you give me the Facebook group name please.
- 2013-05-12 00:01 Susie13
- Thank you Glenda for the extra photo! The second one is making it even harder for me to rule this little fella out as Guinness. Am I seeing a few white hairs on the chest and in the beard? I really hope this is him, I have tears in my eyes in the hope that it is. I need my baby home.

- I have got a couple more photos that I will put on Pawprints Facebook Page. I will check the right ear next time I go in to the pound.
- 2013-05-11 23:24 Susie13
- Sounds like Guinness's behaviour not able to sit still and the size of a small poodle.he is also of a slim build. Has he been checked for a microchip? Guinness is chipped with a German one. He scanned okay through the Calais Port upon bringing him into the UK. Guinness will only be turning 2 in August. Would anyone be able to check the right hand ear for a couple of dog teeth mark marks please. And see if he responds to the name Guinness. It would be very much appreciated. This photo is hard to rule out as him because the angle it has been taken from. Thank you!Last edited: 2013-05-11 23:26:03 by Susie13

- Only a young dog
- 2013-05-11 18:08 Bella
- He has a Scottie face, but a very slim body and longer legs than you would see on a Scottie. Very difficult to photograph because wouldn't stand still. I would say size of a small poodle.
