- Thanks lost and found spaniels x can you keep his doglost page updated with any news or sightings please in case I miss any ?
I can understand if the police are chasing him away from traffic as I have seen a report that he was sighted on the ring road this morning but he shouldn't be chased otherwise.
There have been several SIGHTINGS of Blizzard and he seems to be circling the area he ran off from . His owners are in the area now .... Everything crossed xxLast edited: 2013-05-14 11:17:26 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire - 2013-05-14 10:59 elfie 2575

- I spoke to Blzzards owner a short while ago and advised they need to set up ONE feeding area and at the moment her sisters home where he ran off from looks like the best bet as he seems to be circling this area. Have advised to leave Ismelly food in the garden with a trail of very small smelly and tasty peices of food leading into the garden. Also to place Blizzards bed and any toys or items with owners scent there. I know a lot of people are trying to catch Blizzard but can they PLEASE not pursue him as it was just make him run. The best way to catch him will be by luring him to follow you into into a secure garden using smelly food to tempt him but please only do this if the situation is right . Please don't leave large amounts of food out for him though as his owners are doing this and need him to keep going to the same place for it. Fingers crossed his owners get him today ! - I'm sure that somebody said there was a dog similar on the A66 sliproad off the A1M at Scotch Corner yesterday on facebook. They said a highways agency van was trying to catch it. May be worth a call ?

- Hope he isn't out there too long especially being under weight and wearing a flea collar which can burn the skin if left on for too long poor boy xxxx

- Blizzard bolted away from his owners when they were visiting relatives in Darlington and was last SIGHTED at 11 am today in the Barmpton area heading in the direction of Sadberge which is where the Dog Trust is. Dog wardens are aware ,
Just to make all local helpers aware ...there are reports that another darker coloured husky is loose in this area too !
His owners are returning to the area tomorrow to search and hopefully put up,some posters. As they do not live in the area he has been lost in I am sure if any local helpers could help with postering his owners would be very grateful.
Hoping that Blizzard is safely back home very soon xx

- Alerts maybe need sending out to helpers in DL3 and surrounding area?
There is a facebook page set up by Blizzard's owner called Blizzard Hunt. Most recent sightings are North Road this morning at 7.20am and then by the local dog warden at about 11am in the Barmpton area heading in the direction of Dogstrust Sadberge.
Hope he's found safe and well very soon xxxLast edited: 2013-05-13 20:30:46 by rescue_mum - 2013-05-13 20:13 Jayne - Founder Doglost.

- I think the postcode needs changing for this one admin.
I believe Blizzard is missing around the Whessoe Road area of Darlington which is DL3. Owner lives in Middlesbrough which may be where the TS6 came from!Last edited: 2013-05-13 20:14:10 by rescue_mum - 2013-05-13 18:17 elfie 2575
