Only just catching up on this one as I was away on holiday last week....very close to Christchurch !!
I go there quite often, so glad there is an excellent DW there as so close to the New Forest.
Really pleased he is reunited.

Doone's Owner Gill here. Just wanted to thank Stacy the Christchurch dog warden for doing such a thorough job of checking his description. Also a huge thank you to Dog lost site, what a boon to all dog owners all over the country. You will be all relieved to know that I have since had him "chipped"!! All is well now.

It was lovely Jayne, Gill, Doones owner screamed 'that's him' before she had stopped her van, he was in the cage in the back of the van and she had seen his nose. She then jumped out the van and threw her arms around me. Sometimes I wonder why I do this job as get so much hassle and abuse. Then now and then this sort of thing happens and the owners are so grateful it makes it all worth while 😀x

Very very pleased to be moving this one to the blue. I have just spoken to his very pleased owner on the phone who is so grateful to all involved. Special thanks goes to the Christchurch Dog Warden for doing such a great job.

And you are right CDW there is no way he could travel that far on his own.

There is no way Doone would of got to Christchurch by himself as its about an hour and a quarter drive from where he went missing. Prob picked up and dumped as he has been neutered. Please get Doone microchipped xx

Drove slowly through the Bride Valley this afternoon and spoke to walkers but no sign of Doone, thank you Miss Marple for cropping the photo.

Doone got scared by yesterdays thunderstorm. There hasn't been seen in the area since.
Doone may be making his way back home to Hooke which is not too far from where he went missing.

The owner has been doing a brilliant job of postering the area, searching barns and informing farmers and other locals.
