Hi - we dont think that anyone has yet been to the cat and dogs home and Coleen is the best person to contact as it seems the owners are not bothering to look for their girl - it is the ES rescue and breeders who are very worried about her and we are the ones trying to locate her to make sure she is safe- pity we dont live nearer to help so we are relying on doglost volunteers to poster for us as we are down south. Many many thanks for all those looking for her, we are so grateful.XX Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Thanks Jayne and everyone - much appreciated. Although the owners of Bracken did try ALL that they thought to be enough to find their dog...by the time they told the breeder who then contacted others it was some 6 weeks down the line (although she is MC)!! So maybe they thought if found that would be enough to bring her back to them! If Bracken has been homed then a word to say she is well would be enough. ColeenLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi We have a press release for the local papers/vets/kennels etc etc of the area that Bracken went missing from anyone would like to email me I can send it to you. Perhaps you might like to ciruclate it. She actually went missing from Rouken Glen Park Newton Mearns Glasgow. We accept that she may have been homed by now - so we are asking for the new owners or anyone who might know where she is - just to come forward and give some proof that Bracken is well and being cared for. Any information will be respected and treated in confidence. Thanks ColeenLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Found out this evening that this girl went missing on the 23rd of Novemeber. It was only this weekend that they notified the breeder - who then set about informing others. She went missing from the Newton Mearns area of Glasgow. I understand she is micro chipped. Contrary to first reports she is a tri colour - black, white and brown with a large black eye patch and a patch towards her tail also. She is speyed and is called Bracken. I understand she is not in the habit of wandering off, and there has been a spate of dogs go missing in that area. Photo has been asked for. Thanks ColeenLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
