I take it that local vets have been contacted, they may know of a client who's cavalier has recently given birth?
Raylea
Have had word back from the ad on pets4homes, this poor babe is not her dog.....

The Dog Warden has taken this little girl back to where she was found in the hope that she would be able to find her puppies but so far no luck.

I was going to suggest the same thing, have seen a video on you tube before, worth a try, can someone take the dog back where it was found, put it on a long rope, then play puppys crying on a phone, the dog may take u back to the puppys, as she will think they are her puppys cryin. Was amazing to watch the video and see theall reunited and safe. Think this is the best idea,as the puppys will probably b well hidden so may never be found, please can someone try this as time is running out x
DonnaB
would it be possible for someone to take her back o the area she was found on a secure long lead to see if she leads them back to her puppies? She may have been out looking for food and was on her way back to them?
Raylea
I have emailed the link on pets4homes asking if their Cav is safe but noanswer as of yet.....

I have E-mailed the link from Pets4Homes to the Dog Warden so he can take a look...
Tobys Mum
I have tried to call Raylea but the mobile number has rung out. I will try again later and see if I can get the seller of the pups to have a look.
Raylea
was the owner contacted to see if they are the same Cavaliers???
Raylea
I looked at the picture with the cavalier on the sofa, she seemed to have a lot less tan in her coat, take it no one has come forward for her yet.xx
Carol
Poor little girl she needs a massive hug and loads of love xx
Tobys Mum
Hi snufflepuppy - yes, the blenheim cavalier is in the background of the photo of the puppys, fast asleep on a sofa. Head markings are similar but it's facing the other way. Would be better if the DW could take a look. Do hope she finds her way home soon xx
kjp
oh she looks so sad love her ,i would love to rehome her to join my own 2 cavs but she is about 250 miles from me ,i hope she is found a wonderful home soon xxx
patm

The cav's asleep on a sofa behind the pups advertised in the link by Tobys Mum. xx
snufflepuppy
I have had a look at the advert on Pets4homes, there is a full photo of a blenheim cavalier on it now but the markings are not the same. Did not see a photo on the back of a couch though.
Tobys Mum
Helen - I just searched randlomly on Pets4homes and saw the blenheim cavalier asleep on the back of the sofa in the background of this photo. Do you think it's worth phoning the breeder of these pups who is from this area, posted a couple of days ago?

Message from the dog warden.... We believe there is a very good possibility that she has very recently had puppies and obviously will need to get back to them.

She had straw on her when found, so there is a possibility she has found somewhere warm with straw to give birth.

If you live in the Norwich Road area in Dereham, can you check any out buildings etc for puppies, especially if you have straw in them!
