Just to let you know Hertsmere BC have her! She's absolutely fine the owner needs to call 0845 300 0021 (hertsmeres out of hours service) to freeze the charges but chances are it won't be until after the bank holiday they can get her out of kennels! But she's save and well 😄

Have spoken to owner and dog was microchipped...but only recently...so its very probable that chip has not been registered yet...so double thanks to helper for spreading the word on facebook and getting the hopeful result tomorrow....

So sorry to hear about Lexi - she's a beautiful dog. I've printed out a couple of posters which will be put up in Amersham. I'm sure others will be doing the same. Good luck with the search - hope it's not long before she's back home where she belongs.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.

Be aware fireworks are not only let off when it's dark...
