Received a text from the owner "that Phillip turned up last night at 9pm from where he went missing from, he's in good shape after his Adventure"!
Sammie
Phillip is still missing, owner still looking for him.

Philip actually ran off from School Road, near Bransgore and last sighted by a horse rider near Avon Tyrell and on Shirley Common the other side of a country road.

I cycled as close as possible to this area today but didn't realise it was private road down to Avon Tyrell and a sign saying "no dogs"! I had two with me so came back towards Bransgore but no signs of him.

I spoke with the owners and her boyfriend and suggested scenting from the area he was seen back to the boyfriends parents house or a place of safety. I also suggested posters up at the cross roads of forest lane/road as there are masses of cyclists around.

There is a possibilty that Phillip will try to get back home in Hurn but there would be a river and major road in his way, and he doesn't like water! Neighbours in Hurn have been alerted and he could get back in to the garden there.

Sammie has text, she has spoken with Phillips owner this morning, has made further suggestions. Sammie has cycled around in search of Phillip, the area is vast. Sadly no sightings as yet.
Lilybear
Thank you for photo, have e-mailed to admin for poster. So wishing this little chap home.

I've shared on FB and with a friend who horse rides around Bransgore. Still no sighting of Philip and his doggy brother Spencer is like a little lost soul without him.
Lilybear
Brilliant, thanks Sammie.
Sammie
Will phone owners tomorrow to see if there is any sightings, very rural area within the new forest boundary. Will text Lilybear, but can help search tomorrow as I am on holiday about a mile away!
Lilybear
Have shared Sammie's advice sheets with owner.
Phillip is white with tan ears and one tan spot on his back, curly tail, wearing a brown leather collar with ID tag. He ran off whilst visiting friends approx 7 miles from home. Owners have been searching for past 6hrs. They will update with photo asap. Have informed all relevant agencies.

No photo as yet as this is my neighbour's dog and she is still out looking for him. He's a pretty standard short haired JRT.
