No sign of Jack in Manchester Dogs Home but couldn't make it to Peggy Henderson's - I'll go tomorrow and go back to Dogs Home on Friday x

I ve not managed to get out this week..had personal problems...the houses i knocked at last week regarding the dog.well no one has contacted me to say he is still in the areaxxxxpolly

no luck today..from all accounts this dog cant of got far as he was struggling..bless the poor chap...i will continue tomorrow....or maybe knock on a few doors in the area see if anyone has taken him in...xxpolly

Polly - give me a shout if you need help! In Pilsworth but have a friend in Haslingden - can only do weekends at the minute but off work the week after next but with a bit of luck Jack will be home safe and sound and doggy with poorly leg will be looked after too!

I have spent 4hrs today walking through fields near to where this dog was sighted and nothing...we had a heavy frost last night and it has been bitter cold today...even if this dog isnt jack it still needs to get treated regards the back leg injury..will look again tomorrowxxpolls

Been out again..and i cant see the dog..having said that there is a lot of fields....and possibly if like the people said he has broke a back leg he could be lying down.who ever the dog belongs to it will need vetinary treatement...i will be back out again tomorrow praying i can se him xxx

A dog fitting Jacks discription was seen this morning on Winfields car park in Haslingden...by the time the people who saw the dog contacted me he had tried to run off into the fields behind....this dog does appear to have a broken back leg...i am going to take another walk down there in next hour see if i can find it..the people who saw him said he was afraid to come to them.I know there is a 15mile gap from where he went missing but one never knows how far our missing dogs travelxxxxlets hope i can see the poor dogxxpolls

I'll be in Heaton Park this weekend and postering rounds Vets in Bury etc - can anyone think of anywhere else I can do as I'm fairly new to the area!! No doubt I'll be paying a visit to a couple of pubs this weekend so will have a word with landlords and ask them to pin poster up!! Also I've suggested a meet at some point this weekend to discuss areas us Manc bunch can cover - PM me if interested. Vic x

Have you managed to contact owner? I have been trying but no answer-hopefully they are on their way to the area. Very close to where Jack went missing from.

If jack has a black collar and blue tag he has just been on my farm in edgworth, turton. I locked my 2 up and tried to call him to me but he leathered it off down plantation rd.

In Bury too (Pilsworth) lots of land, farms and whatnot by me, Asda, Vets on Manchester Road!!! Get a pic on and I'll fling them out everywhere!! Polly - let me know where you do and we'll try and get everywhere covered between us?!Also, boyfriend, bro in law couriers, sister in law works in Tesco Prestwich, friends working Radcliffe, Bury courts!! Also have a collie but need a pic asap please!!!

Not another collie, hope this guy is back real soon. Most of them are traced fairly quick. Notify land owners in the area if there are any especially farmers, warm barns & stables are very appealing in cold weather. He may aready have claimed one.
