Phew, was worried about this little one, so pleased he is home. Please can somebody ensure that the owner is aware that now they know where he lives they may try to come back in the future so need to take extra care when he is in the garden alone xx

Thanks Maggie was just going to type update from text so you have saved my fingers!!

So pleased with this result and I think maybe they thought owners would just pay up and not involved police.

This is why it is so important to work with police so they are aware and can take action when needed. Really hope these people get a visit soon from the police and there is enough to bring charges and be a lesson to others NOT to do this sort of crime!!

I was just coming on to move into the Blue and update.
Yes Toffee was left outside his home last night at around 9.30pm. His owners were in the kitchen with the back door open and heard high pitched barking, they ran outside to see Toffee at their gate. They opened the gate to let him in and saw Blue VW doing a 3 point turn and drive away, they got the reg number and have given it to the Police.

Toffee was unharmed but subdued and ravenous.

Owner and her friend want to thank Doglost and everyone else who text, phoned, shared Toffee.

I'm so happy that he is home safe and sound, made my day :)

unable to update till this morning. spoke to friend on owner whose mobile is being used as owner speaks little English. I heard her on speaker with second call back from police who were getting as much info as possible and having to produce a second log to pass onto another area.
Although I was at a meal with friends I kept mobile on incase anything came back. I have asked for update this morning and hoping that police took action if a ransom meet was arranged. Will update once have news.
