  • Other Info Saru is wearing a red tartan collar and his tail curls up over his back. When in Romania, he was hit by a car and now has retina damage, so is classed as partially blind though he sees quite well. He's very friendly and gets on well with humans and other dogs, but is difficult to catch as he shies away if you put your hand over his head to hold his collar. Unfortunately, being an OAP, I cannot afford a reward. Chip is Romanian and they are unsure of the number

Wonderful news. So pleased Sahu has been reunited. As for a reward in a different case scenario I dont think a genuine dog lover would accept one anyway. Happily it did not come to that, and if it had we who "Post" on DL would have been with you. Stay safe now Sahu:-)xxx

Thanks BaileyP. When I spoke to owner this am she could not find her chip number nor did she know who is was registered with so if you have the details can you send to admin so we can put on here? Or look on DL SW FB page and pm me the details. Thanks
BaileyP
Saru has been in the UK a while so should know the area. His chip was registered with Petlog when he arrived here. His owner should have the chip number by now. Petlog will be informed of his disappearance first thing tomorrow. Come home Saru! Xxx
Inkie's Mum
Before the lady registered Saru on here, I made contact through her FB postings and suggested postering everywhere around this huge expanse of woodland, also a scent trail and to ask if she needs help in a search, as she's not as young as she was! She would be grateful for help in getting her boy back, I know.

Have spoken to owner, given advice and sent information sheets.
The Chip is Romanian and they are unsure of the number and trying to locate the paper work.
He has lived feral before in a wood (in Romania)so may still be in the same area.
