- Hi, Yes he had his stitches out but he is a minx and getting quiet above himself wanting to play, he hasn't read the notes which say 5-10 minute walks 3 times a day for ANOTHER TWO WEEKS!!! his energy levels are huge, but the Vet thinks 3 weeks for his bones to fuse and we can gradually build up his exercise so op done 6th June + 3 weeks = 27th June so not long to go, then I can look for a home for him 2nd July - he is so very lovely and didn't make any move towards cats or small dogs we saw in the Vet, even a rabbit wasn't of great interest so fingers crossed we will have no problem getting him into a great home.

- Hi Kookie, just wondering how Teddy got on at the vets on Friday? Is he improving? x
- 2013-06-18 14:28 Kookie
- He is really quite a cheeky boy, he improves daily, taking him back to the Vet on Friday for a check up, will see what the next course of action, and I will get some better pictures, when he first arrived on Friday he was quite stressed, by Saturday he was so laid back as to be almost comatose, he rally is a delightful creature

- Thank you Claire for wanting to donate, but as Teddy's needs have been met by his very generous finder, maybe a donation to Doglost this fantastic organisation which brings us all together could benefit from a donation in Teddy's name, sending one of the many kisses I got from Teddy yesterday to you all x

- Oh my god I'm in love!! How gorgeous is Teddy (love his new name!!)
So pleased to hear he is doing so well :-) Is there anywhere I can donate towards this lovely boy?
Love love love him, I'm sure he's going to be spoilt rotten in his new home
Give him a big kiss from me and I will keep checking for more pictures :-)
Debbie, you are an angel!! Thank you for saving this gorgeous boy xxx - 2013-06-14 16:42 Kookie
- Teddy is now in his foster home, he needs a week crate rest then back to vet, he sadly needs the collar of shame because he does nibble at his stitches, and as you can see he has quite a few of them! he has the biggest crate in the country so will be quite comfortable. His potential new owner has already visited him along with her current dog, and will continue to visit him in his foster home to make sure they are both happy with each other - so fingers crossed that it works out. We cannot legally rehome him for 28 days so 2nd July could be his rehome date, watch this space. please forgive photo quality I didn't want to stress him too much and it was all very new, maybe next week he will be a little more relaxed and I will get better ones. I left him snuggling down on a pillow with his special toy by his nose.

- Sorry, have been working away, I will be collecting Thor, who has now been called Teddy by the Vet nurses who are totally besotted by him, they said Thor was too butch for a gorgeous sweet boy. Tomorrow I take him to his foster home and I WILL take photos I promise. he is doing really well and the really good news the lady who found him hasn't been able to stop thinking about him and is desperately trying to find him a home, and paid his Vet bill in full only yesterday and we are talking 4 figures, so massive thanks to Debbie you are an absolute star. Tomorrow ladies you will have photos!

- Quick update on this lovely lad! his surgery went well today and the Vet expects a full recovery, dependant on how long it takes him to start walking he will remain in Hospital, then come into Foster. His injuries are thought to be caused by a fall from a height, how he obtained them we will never know, all that really matters is that he is on the road to recovery, sorry no pic yet he is quite a way from me but will get one as soon as I can get back to see him. he is in good hands where he is.

Sending him big hugs from me and sloppy kisses from my 3 doggies :-) xx - 2013-06-06 15:25 Timmy's Mummy
- Is it possible that Thor was hit by a car and then crawled into the field? Just that normally if someone dumps a dog its not in the middle of a field. Seems strange that's all. Hope Thor gets better soon and finds the best forever home possible. I would have him but I already have a rescue who is now spoilt and selfish and wouldn't welcome another dog, he likes being an 'only child'. xx
- 2013-06-06 15:19 Goldenfrodo

- Exactly!!! I went to see him at the Vet's he is now pain free but so gorgeous I cried! you never get used to stuff like this. he is having pins fitted tomorrow, he will remain in the Vet for a few days and we have been lucky to secure foster care for him while he recovers, he will be so loved in his Foster home, then when he is fully recovered we will find him a new and loving home. I will update as he gets better I feel sure he will have a huge following by the time he is up and about as soon as I can I will upload a picture of him. Thank you Carol for caring, with love from Thor, so called because he is a brave strong boy.
