- Owner rang to say that whilst cleaning the yard today around where Rizzle was - she found a link from the chain which has been cut. So it appears now that Rizzle HAS been stolen. I have advised owner to notify the police and obtain crime reference no. The M1 runs fairly close by so need to widen the area

- Rizzle was last seen around 8.30pm on Friday 8th June with the other dog (a Jack Russell). It is quite a rural area. They usually have free rein of the yard during the day but are then kept on a chain overnight. The Jack Russell was there but Rizzle was missing along with the attached chain. It isnt clear if she has been taken due to the fact she has broken her chain before chasing a cat. Dog warden has been notified and Flushdyke kennels contacted as well as the chip company. I am emailing contact details for the other holding kennels and advised owner to contact surrounding dog wardens and get as many posters up as possible around the area.Suggested searching the area and to check in any outbuildings in case Rizzle has broken free and become caught if had chain attached.
