I saw what looked like a greyhound type dog, black with white on chest, near Hedgerley Wood House on Chinnor Road at the top of Chinnor Hill this morning about 11am. The dog came out of the woods at the end of the drive to this property, across the road where it seemed to be looking at bins, but when I turned the car round and went back it was very shy and ran back towards the woods at the end of the drive. These woods have public footpaths in and around them, and this area has also been known for having traveller type people there with dogs. Linda T helperLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Axel's mum:
What is happening around Didcot area at the mo with dogs being taken? We're still desperateley searching for Fingle (20/05/05) stolen from his garden - always on the look out. My heart goes out to the elderley couple - the awful feeling of not knowing if they're dog is being loved and cared for. Will keep an eye out. Unfortunately travellers were believed to be behind the theft of Fingle - no doubt many more too!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Heartbreaking, maybe someone took her in and she is safe. If only they would come forward if this is the case. I wonder if reward notices were plastered near the reading area sites? not too far away.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This is so sad that these owners have been looking for their beloved dog for all this time and have still not given up. I really do hope that with the help of Dog Lost Lucky can be reunited with them. Is 8-10 the age she was when she went missing or what she would be now? Sue Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
