Rang owner who said Hazel (younger dog) has been reunited around half an hour ago which is fantastic news - she was spotted approx 4 miles away and owners informed. So she is now safely home. Sadly Myrtle is still missing. Dog wardens /vets have been notified and posters up. Both dogs went walkabout from the garden which backs onto a field then onto a footpath which runs along the edge of the river. They have done this before but have then returned home.Have advised contacting Harrogate, York and Selby dog wardens also, and to poster in case she has been picked up. Owners are going to go out with Hazel to search along here in case Myrtle has become caught. Fingers crossed Myrtle is also back home very soon. Neither dogs were microchipped but Hazel will be getting one asap.
