- There is a fawn lurcher running scared in Leeds. Could Rocket have been taken there and set loose? Doglost ID is:57360. Might be worth a look.

- I have just joined dog lost as in the past few weeks I have seen a fawn and white lurcher running around the Bagworth area. My attempts to catch him always fail as he is so quick and I have seen him go into a nearby traveller site. Also contacted the RSPCA. Sad to hear about the very sad find. Hoping this isn't Rocket.

- SarahP please can you let the owners know exactly where you saw the dog so that they can check as the police and Environmental Health dept know nothing about any dog. Thanks

- Napkin91 I have emailed SarahP in case she doesn't see your message. You could speak to Leics police to see if they have any information, the dog warden and the Environmental department of the council who would probably be responsible for collecting the deceased dog. If you can trace where the dog is please make sure that you tell them that you'd like to see if this is Rocket because rta's are often cremated very quickly and then it's impossible to identify them.

- Unfortunately I came across a male fawn lurcher this morning while travelling back home after walking my dogs. He was lying dead by the side of the road and covered in mud. Definitely fawn with white on his chest and similar looking to Rocket. My friend has reported him to Leicestershire police today. He is wearing a collar but no tag. Near to Bagworth. Looked to be in good condition, short nails, not skinny. Sorry, this is all the information I have, but if you want to speak to me about this, please let me know - more than happy to help
