- Hi
Just to let you know the latest on Lady. I think Angela has been trying to ring but cant get through.
Ive phoned vets in Chorley, Leyland, Bamber Bridge and Walton le Dale and one in Preston. Ive emailed them all a poster which they have put up in their surgeries. I also asked them to scan any dogs that fit Ladys description with her being chipped. Ive phoned and emailed the local Asda too. Also phoned the RSPCA in Preston for them to put a poster up in their surgery and also in their rehoming waiting room.
I printed a load of posters off and weve put them up at local schools, Spar, community centre, off licence, pub and betting office.
Ive asked Angela to get in touch with the local paper (Citizen) to see if they would do a feature. She has put an ad in the lost section of the Lancashire Evening Post.
Shes also contacted the police
Weve put loads up on lamp posts - there was a possible sighting of her and we put some up in that area of Clayton Brook too (its a huge estate).
Angela has phoned the Chorley, South Ribble and Preston dog wardens and Ive given her the details of Homeless Hounds, Rochdale Dog Rescue and Hyndburn Stray Dogs in Need websites (they help the pounds in these areas) to check if she appears on them - although shouldnt with her being chipped. Angela has advised the chip company that she has moved.
There was also a possible sighting of Lady on the Callon? Estate in Preston so I took Angela through for a drive round. Again we put posters up (including pubs etc).
Angela has only lived in this house for a couple of weeks and a public footpath runs at the back of her garden. She lived in Preston before that.
Lady is only 7 months old.
Have you any other ideas what we can do to get Lady back to Angela please.

- Sorry to see that LADY is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (53502)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
