Ah what a shame they had to be split up , is he still at the same kennels I am interested in him but am 64 my husband is 69 although we don't look it or act it , so we are probably too old !!! How old is the little fellow , my dog is 4 , you have done a brilliant job with these 2 you really have xxx

Hi Carol, The little girl was not coming out of her shell when she was away from the male, so a member of kennel staff took her home for rehab and she flourished. She is now a constant companion for an elderly lady. The male is still waiting for a home but has interest. He is a ball of fun and would suit a young lively family, which she unfortunately would not. They will both be in the best place and really dont seem to miss each other at all.

Belle, yes the dog wardens are brilliant I have a welsh springer and would love these two not sure my husband would agree but will work on him , I was upset by this story and can't stop thinking about them ( have already named them Jack and Jenny ) ha ha , lovely little things xxx

Hi Carol, no owners found yet, the boy was not a match and I could not find anything on alfies for the girl. Her mouth was given a really good flush out and 10 teeth removed and antibiotics.

Oh that's wonderful news I hear that owners may have been found for them both as it states there are 2 lost dogs matching there discription , would you keep me Informed , also how did the vet deal with her gums aww bless her , will keep looking for updates on them thanks a lot xx

Both got a clean bill of health. Her gums are healing really well and she has put on a much needed 400gms in two days. They were being spoilt with treats and cuddles for about 45 minutes at the vets today.

Duplicate of 53573 - found tied up with 53574- They are really sweet dogs, the bitch is a little timid, understandable, the male is a barrel of fun. Hopefully they will find a home together. They are back at the vets tomorrow for a check and am sure they will get the thumbs up.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
