Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

So very sad to update that Lara's family have had their worst fears confirmed today. It was Lara who was involved in the fatal RTA last week.

Her family at least now have her home where she belongs. Run free Lara - sleep tight sweetheart :(( xxx

Hope she has been reunited too. Also hope that whoever the dog was that was hit by a rubbish truck is okay too. Ask your owner to buy you a "Chip" Lara.

While we were putting posters up today the security guard at Bentley motors told us a dog had been hit by a council rubbish truck but no one has reported it to the warden or the police yet and he could not tell us what happened to the dog, i think it could of been Lara though will find out more on Monday when the council rubbish Depp opens. :(

I have been in touch with the relative of Lara's owner who registered her details.

Lara went missing from home in Badger Avenue, Crewe, but has only been in her new home for a few days so doesn't know the area. She is a nervous girl and has been seen in a few gardens around the area, but has not yet been tracked down by family members.

The dog wardens and local vets have been informed she is missing and posters have been printed and laminated and will be going up around the area tomorrow. All crossed they bring that all important sighting. x
