- Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

- It with the deepest regret to be moving Tilly over to RAINBOW BRIDGE.
Family have contacted me with the very sad news that Tilly passed away this week. Family said they would like to pass on their thanks again for helping to find her when she was missing and they have cherished the time they have had with her........
This is the worst part of owning a pet is when we have to say goodbye. Many thanks to her family for letting us know. Thinking of her owner and family at this very sad time. Tilly was so lucky to have such a caring family and glad they got to spend her last years together.
I've done a Rainbow Bridge photo for Tilly and sent to her family. x - 2013-06-21 10:14 Goldenfrodo

- UPDATE: While in work this morning I got a call at 9.00am from Liverpool RSPCA (Halewood) to say the DW had been in touch with them after seeing the details and photo I’d shared on the RSPCA fb page. Tilly had been found in West Derby and was with the AW’s. I contacted owner and passed the message on, asked her to contact the AW’s. In the meantime I contacted KMBC DW and they tried to get onto the AW database used by the DW’s but could not get on. Owner text back to say AW’s said she was not with them and there was no match. After a few phone calls and owner also ringing AW’s again the AW’s rang myself to say they did not have a match. I advised they speak to the RSPCA to get more details as I was in work. Liaised with owner a few times. Very frustrating time for all involved.
It was great to get the news that Tilly was finally home; she was not matched as she was down as a male. This is not uncommon with found dogs.
A MASSIVE THANK YOU to the Liverpool DW for contacting the RSPCA and the RSPCA for making that call to myself this morning. Family are over the moon to have Tilly back with them and they have done a great job and their perseverance paid off with a brilliant result.
Tilly will be getting CHIPPED a.s.a.p. by the Knowsley Dog Warden. Owners live in Knowsley and where she was picked up was Liverpool as both areas border with each other.
Hopefully we will have a REUNITED photo soon to finish her page off.
THANKS to everyone who shared and helped look out for her.
WELCOME HOME Tilly sending you lots of hugs and cuddles. xxx

- TEXT RCVD earlier today from her very happy owner:
I have just found her minutes ago! She was in Animal Warden’s, they had her down as male instead of female. I was adamant that she was there and luckily she is unharmed. I had to pay £68 for costs but she’s worth all the money in the world! Thanks for your help. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have found her xxx
