Hamish's owner has just phoned me with the wonderful news that Hamish has been found !!
A lady found him minus his collar and tag at almost 20 miles from where he went missing !!! A dog warden matched the found report to the missing report . So well done to both the finders and the dog wardens !
Welcome home Hamish amd pleaae stay safe from now on xxx

- Hamish was on a walk with his owners and his other dog along the riverside when he ran off to follow two people who were walking with 2 dogs. He was last seen following them until they dissappeared from view at a point where there are several different pathways. His owners keep returning to the area to search for him amd have reported him as missing to the Rotherham Dog warden and checked with the Stray kennels. As they are fairly close to the Sheffield area I have suggested that they contact dog wardens and stray kennels there as well.
Petlog have been informed and he is flagged up as missing.
When Hamish went missing he was wearing a collar and tag amd hopefully of someone finds him they will call his owners, get him scanned or contact the dog warden which anyone finding a dog is required to do.
Have advised his owners to try local radio and newspapers to get as much media coverage Hamish as possible.
Hoping Hamish is back home very soon xxx - 2013-06-18 19:20 Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
